Dr. Sahana K’s journey in the field of medicine is marked by her academic brilliance and professional dedication. She began her medical education with an MBBS from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Davanagere, India, completed between 2009 and 2014. She further specialized in obstetrics and gynecology, earning her MS (OBG) from Dr. V.M. Government Medical College, Solapur, India, from 2016 to 2019. Dr. Sahana then achieved a DNB (OBG) from the National Board of Examination, New Delhi, India, in November 2020. Her advanced training was further enhanced by a Fellowship in Reproductive Medicine at the prestigious Gunasheela Surgical & Maternity Hospital, Bengaluru, India.
Professionally, Dr. Sahana has gained extensive experience in both national and international healthcare settings. She served as a Senior Resident at Dr. V.M. Government Medical College, Solapur, from June 2019 to October 2020, where she honed her skills in obstetrics and gynecology. Later, she worked as a Registrar at Kangaroo Care Hospital, Bengaluru, from February 2022 to June 2022. Most recently, she broadened her expertise as an OBGY Specialist at Better Life Clinic, Dubai, from September 2023 to October 2024.
