Electrician
Qualification: High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a certified electrician apprenticeship program.
Experience: 3-5 years
Location: Bangalore
1. Installation and Maintenance:
o Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, wiring, fixtures, and equipment, including power generators, transformers, and circuit breakers.
o Ensure all work complies with local and national electrical codes and healthcare safety standards.
2. Emergency Power Systems:
o Test and maintain backup generators, UPS systems, and emergency power supplies to ensure continuous operation during outages.
3. Medical Equipment Support:
o Assist in installing and maintaining electrical connections for medical equipment and diagnostic devices.
o Collaborate with the biomedical engineering team for troubleshooting and repairs.
4. Safety Inspections:
o Conduct regular inspections of electrical systems to identify potential hazards or areas of improvement.
o Ensure proper grounding of electrical systems and devices in patient care areas.
5. Repairs and Troubleshooting:
o Diagnose and repair electrical faults in lighting, HVAC, and other facility systems.
o Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies.
6. Documentation:
o Maintain detailed records of electrical inspections, repairs, and upgrades.
o Document compliance with healthcare regulatory standards and codes.
7. Collaboration and Training:
o Work closely with other maintenance staff to ensure smooth operations.
o Provide training to staff on electrical safety and energy conservation practices when required.
